Stafford Sewcial Stitchers

We are a weekly social sewing and stitching group (but not a craft group) and have been running since June 2024. Our members are dressmakers, quilters, embroiderers and knitters. We are very friendly and it's a very sociable 3 hours every week.

We meet at Littleworth Community Centre, St Thomas St, Stafford ST16 3UU on a Wednesday afternoon from 12.45 to 4pm. There is a car park directly outside and there are no stairs.

Subs are £4 cash per session attended and include self-serve refreshments. There is an iron, ironing table and lots of extension leads. We also have table risers if anyone would like a raised table for cutting out.

If you would like to join us then please contact me directly by email or Messenger. There is absolutely no commitment to come every week, just pay and help with setting up/tidying up as much as you are able to, when you do come.

Machine sewers:

One final and very important point is that every piece of electrical equipment that you bring must be PAT tested, this includes machines, extension leads and irons. This is a condition of hall use and out of our control. We have an annual testing afternoon in February but if you would like to join mid-year then you can either take your equipment to the Rehome Repurpose repair café (see their website for dates) and make a donation, or you can hire a Stafford Sew-Days machine for £5 each time.
