Dressmaking club

Would you like some help with a project or improve your dressmaking skills?

Is there a technique or process you’re struggling with, or do you need help with fitting?

Are you a beginner looking to start a simple project and get started on your dressmaking journey?

These small group sessions are for anyone who would like to improve their skills or just needs a bit of help with something.

I can help you choose a suitable project and take you from beginner to a competent and confident dressmaker. All you need is to know how to use a machine confidently.

If you need any advice or help prior to attending (such as fabric or pattern choice) then please get in touch by email in advance.

My methodology is based on accuracy and a focused approach to skill development. I will explain every step to you and make sure you understand what you need to do, and why you are doing it. My goal is for  you to feel confident in making your own garments that fit you well and that you are proud to say you made 😊

What I offer:

  • Small groups so you get the time and attention you need;

  • Help with pattern and fabric choice;

  • Over 50 years of sewing experience from dressmaking to pattern cutting/hacking and fitting;
